this further proves that omaha would be a truly great city if it only had a decent public transportation system. the bus system is pretty sub par... now, if we had a railed system like in the DC metro, you'd never get bored.

@Exarian I lived in Omaha in the 1970's. To tzake a bus from Westside High School (87th & Pacific) to Westorads (98th Dodge) , which would be a five minute car trip, took 45 MINUTES! You had to take the bus to Croassroads, then switch buses!

if you think omaha is boring...you should try going outside from time to time,instead of playing w/your tongue all day...we have everything a major city has...Great parks,night clubs,food,people,sights,parti­es,great shopping spots,casinos right across the river,1 of the biggest zoo's in the usa,Collage world series,Good schools,and much,much more.WTF else do you want?

I love how the midwest is honestly trying to be all ghetto. the ppl in minneapolis think they a mini chicago but really my fams out in the south side of chicago so when i see posts like this or hear ppl in minneap call themselves murderap or think the lesser midwest states are all that i just kinda laugh. Omaha is amazing but, once you do everything there is to do, theres nothing left to do. I love Omaha,its amazing, id rather live somewhere else and just vist.
