I actually checked your channel because I saw you arguing with a guy about his galant VR-4 vid being a fake (which it clearly was) and it seemed like you knew a lot about cars... reading comments here confirmed that as well lol. Great job with the galant man, and good luck with the future mods.

on the topic of "rice burner" over muscle, I agree completely... I've had multiple friends challenge my 3kGT to race their stang... I dont even have a VR-4 but I still kick their ass lol

@mustangjunkie10 if you're making a new vid then I'm definitely subbing. I've actually become a big fan of galant VR-4's since I got my 3k. I like them because they dont necessarily look fast but they'll smoke you in a heart beat. I'm actually looking for some relatively inexpensive mods that I can do to my 3k to improve torque. I just bought a cold air, and I know a test pipe would help a lot but i don't feel like dealing with the whole emissions thing... any suggestions?

@SML693 im not going to be running a cat once the turbo is back on, you can avoid throwing a code by using spark plug antifoulers to back up the downstream O2 to get a normal reading. i now have a 3 inch APEXi catback on it with a short ram intake, 5 speed with a lightweight flywheel and minor things to help stiffen the handling

I actually thought about getting rid of my 3kgt...I bought it with a bad ecu in october, and the replaced ecu just died a couple of days ago... i know the ecu's are notoriously bad but still... 3 months out of one? I only considered it because there's a 96 eclipse GS with a ton of mods that looks sick for sale on craigslist for 2k, and I could easily get more than that for my 3kGT.

btw, your car sounds sick! i cant wait for the new vid

@SML693 dont get an eclipse gs unless its a convertable as the 420A non turbo engine is junk and has internal and head gasket issues. find a turbo one or get a galant, same thing with 4 doors.

@jennaboo2122 my car looks nothing like this anymore as i have fully converted to the JDM VR4 body style. as for the idle, yes. my Idle Air Control valve (IAC) went and i had to hold the throttle for abour 45 seconds when it was cold to get it to idle correctly
