In the auspicious venue of Iskcon Temple at Juhu, Manav Vij and Vaishali Sahdev got into blissful marriage on July 5th..


Manav Vij and Vaishali Sahdev of Kis Desh fame tied the knot on July 5th. The wedding took place at the Iskcon temple in Juhu as Vaishali is a staunch follower of Hare Rama Hare Krishna.

Our source close to the couple attended the wedding and helped us with some information on the proceedings.

"Manav is a total workaholic and was found shooting on the day of his wedding too. He was shooting for his Star Plus show Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke from 6 in the morning to 1 in the noon. The groom was later seen at the mandap at 7 in the evening, when the marriage was scheduled", says our source.

It is heard that the bond that Manav and Vaishali share has been very spiritual and their sense of commitment towards each other is unbelievable. "According to them, marriage is actually the ultimate move that enables them to lead a life together", states our khabroo.

The wedding was well-attended by family and relatives of both the groom and bride. "The entire unit of Mitwa and Kis Desh was there to bless the couple. Manav who started his television journey with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi felt nostalgic when he saw his entire team of Kyunki present at the occasion. Hiten and Gauri Tejwani, Rakshanda Khan, Riva Babber, Suvarna Jha were amongst the ones who attended the function. The Kis Desh team was rocking as ever, and had a great get-together", further explains our source.

Manav enjoyed a day's off from his shoot but got back to work on 7th July. Vaishali who is nick-named Meher by Manav, will be resuming her shoot for Kis Desh in two days' time.

We did not try calling the couple as we wished not to disturb them. Presently, Manav and Vaishali are seen in Star Plus' Kis Desh.
