This what Akuma has been trying to become, "the one who became strong". Well by letting the devil inside him (which is the satsui no hado, or the dark hado) takeover him completely he truly is the definition of...strong.

I agree. Which is why I wondered about the idea of turning Akuma into a normal fighter to reverse the trend. It's getting out of control.

Yea, but if Evil Ryu is a "What If" version of Ryu giving in to the Dark Hadou, I wonder what Akuma when he isn't given to the "dark side". I wonder if there will be a redeemed version of Akuma as a grandmaster Shotokaner alongside Gouken and what he can possibly progress as a character, rather than going the angry route. It's pretty predictable after awhile - fighter gets angry, becomes super saiyan, has crazy hair and lightning around him.

A lot of potential for a story line with Oni. Sadly, this will probably be the only time we get to see him

@Fgarfio01 No Shin Akuma is Akuma when he is not holding back, but Oni is when Akuma gives up his humanity completely.
