Tom Corbett, selling Pennsylvania's natural resources out of state and creating jobs for out of state migrant workers. Shouldn't local towns profit from the extraction of their own natural resources especially since they're the ones who have to deal with, among other things, toxic runoff? Governor Corbett doesn't think so. Space Cadet Corbett would be ashamed of his namesake.

Frankie Thomas played Nancy Drew's boyfriend in the Warner Brothers Nancy Drew series starring Bonita Granville. Roger was the "bad" Space Cadet, sort of like Dan Baxter in the Rover Boy stories.

I used to have a 78rp Victor 10" record of how Tiom Corbett got started. He enters the Space Academy and meets Astro -and also meets the truculent Manning. They start out rocky but soon prove their worth.

I still hum the space academy song that closed the story.

I'm amazed that in an age before international broadcasts they felt the need to write "offer good only in the US" in the Kraft Caramels commercial. Did they really think anyone from outside the US would even see the commercial??
