well.. atoms aren't alive, except what they make up in the big picture. these million lightyear across objects might be alive? we're practically the size of atoms compared to the size of these... lyman amoebas.

at first i thought this was going to be a massive amount of slime or something similar floating in space
the fact that its just a big hot gas clouds was SO expected, i didnt see it coming
(in other word, had the name been different, i would not be surprised that they were just clouds of hot gas)
although 3000 times the size of milky way IS HUGE
