This is the american version of the video for Trash, the super-mega hit single from Suede. I personally think this version is slightly better than the regular one, i really like how it was shot, and Brett looks freaking cool in this one.

After all this time that i've been listening to this song, i still think it's the best song ever!

Enjoy

  • i was pretty sure in '97 this had clips from a movie in it- anyone remember this>

  • @JoeSidney as far as i know, apart from "Simon" no other Suede song was included in any film.

  • @sonicadv27

Trash is the background music for a scene in the movie "Nowhere"

  • @FearofTrains yeah it is :)

  • yes i much prefer this one too! I also like the way this was one shot compared to the UK version & the shots of brett are way better in this one too! I was wondering though are there US versions of any of the other videos too? The only other one I can think of is "Cant get enough"? Are there any more? Thanks for sharing too! xxx

  • @rebeldiamond1 i don't think that there are more US versions.

I think they do different versions to focus the video on the members of the band. In this versions the shots on Brett look amazingly cool. Americans like to focus on the band members, instead of watching the video for it's theme or message. i mean, in most cases, not all.

  • @JoeSidney I heard this song in a movie called "Nowhere". Came out in 97 too.

  • It is an immortal and brilliant song!!

  • @JoeSidney It featured clips of Gregg Araki's 'Nowhere', The song featured on the album and in the film :)

  • The next life was in the 1994 movie The chase and my insatiable one was in so i married an axe murder.

  • @JoeSidney Yeah, I do! I wanna say it was one of the Austin Powers movies but on imdb.com it shows that this song was featured in only 2 movies "B.Monkey" and "Nowhere".
