  • This is the most detailed account from him about Darcy. He's so beautifully humble.

  • Pride and Prejudice was a BBC TV series, consisting of 6 episodes. The one with Firth as Darcy, i.e. the definitive one. (There is a 2005 movie that some like and some - including this writer - think butchers the book and panders to people who have no feeling for the atmosphere of the Regency era, but that is by the way).

  • @GorgeousColinILoverU = the interviewer asks Colin if he would have done the Lake Scene in the nude........ Gosh, do we wish !! Not only the sideburns would have been flying through air then..........

  • Love this interview ! The host is very good, so civil and kindly - and so British, like Colin.

  • Thanks for sharing this witty, very funny and informative interview. I had a lot of fun to listen this. Especially when he told us that he was 'hump' by a little dog named Mr. Darcy....;ö) in St. Trinnians. Well, I'm not very involved with this Mr. Darcy of "Pride and Prejudice" but the way he react to the questions to that time and shooting was very funny ;ö). But can anybody tell my what' s the question at 5:07? You know....I'm geman and my english isn't perfect... thanks....

  • Just as I think my hopeless crush on Colin is wearing off, I stumble over an interview like this - and BANG, there we go again, sighing and pining......

  • "First 3 episodes"? Pride & Prejudice was a film.

Great story about the in-laws but he tells it differently each time. I think this might be one from the PR folks....

  • One of the best and funniest interviews I've ever seen him do! Thanks to the interviewer for such provacative questions! I love Colin's laugh!
