Part 4

This tutorial will take you through the process of coloring a piece with Copic markers. As I color, I attempt to explain my thought process in choosing colors and coloring technique.

This piece can be found completed on DeviantArt here: ((Not finished yet!))

If you have any further questions, or would like to suggest things for me to demo in the future, please feel free to ask politely, and I will reply back to you as soon as I can. :)

I ask that you do not leave any rude or inconsiderate comments. Critique on the tutorial itself is fine, but it is important to be polite, well mannered, and poised in this ugly society.

  • Ooo, I can't WAIT to get started with markers!!

    Thank you for these!

  • @HolyCowWorshipper You welcome!

I hope you upload some videos! :D

  • @LordMoufMouf I bought my first copics a last saturday~~ Four Ciao and another four a couple of days ago! And one ProMarker, but I love my Copics more!! And of course special paper! The store had a girl to demonstrate markers that day (the area (county? commune?) had a culture-themed day) and both of you helped a lot! I'll soon upload my first tries on dA, and I'll link you!

  • @HolyCowWorshipper

Fantastic! I can't wait to see!

  • Bravo! It's so nice to see someone on youtube who knows what they're doing, and you sure do! I've seen all of the other parts to this series so far, and they've been great! I just love watching other fellow artists who use the same art medium as I. Well, I use mostly Prismacolor markers. They don't work as well, but I've manged to get a decent effect out of them that is similar-but not as nice-as Copics.

  • @Girl4God2 Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy my videos. :)

Yes, once you work with Copics, nothing seems to compare!

  • do u use pencil first to draw and then ink it with markers.

  • nice work. copic look like they have a real nice brush nib, i use tria at the moment but i find the brush nib isnt very flowing, im thinking of investing in copics.
