Thanks for the comments, even those not liking the voice over.

We have done some research and it seems than mostly Americans don't like it. Non-Americans are OK with it (including myself). One explanation is, that in US you get to hear this kind of voice over more often and you are full of it. Is that possible?

i think what kills the mood is that he sounds like an announcer to some kind of event, like wresling, or sports, instead of presenting an "in the future in space" setting.

Just to let you guys know unless the developers have changed their plans recently this game will require you to be constantly connected to the internet to play the singleplayer. I for one do not support this kind of DRM and will be skipping this game, and that's coming from someone who's a massive fan of the Red Faction/Descent series. Lets hope they change their minds.

i honestly think thats a stupid terrible idea, I hate the drm just as much but to skip on such an amazing thing and not help the development all because of a childish disagreement sickens me!
