@kirmy1 You don't get a fireball like that with a nitrous canister blowout. You get a huge bang, and a huge white cloud of vapor. Nitrous bottle explosions usually blow the entire back end off a vehicle. And you don't keep the bottle under the hood, EVER, because heat is the reason nitrous bottles rupture...

That was a nitrous/fuel mix backfire, AKA: intake explosion. Happens a lot in drag racing, where they usually call it a "blower explosion" because it blows the supercharger off...
