I thought i was about to hear a boom there for a second. xD

@slackerm1 What I was thinkin was, if I was going to have a back up motor for the car, I would get 1 . But you may be onto something with the 4.6 turbo setup. Thanks.

I fucking love when you can HEAR the power. fuck the dyno, you can just listen to the exhaust and tell it's got power.

Okay. I've been reading up all week. Yours made great power. Which turbo are you running ? Know anyone with a first gen on3 kit?

Borg Warner SX80, T6 flange with a 1.07 A/R, way too big really, the T6 flange was a bad choice. Pretty laggy, even with the auto, cant imagine with a stick. There are 76mm turbos that would blow this thing out of the water.
My friend is doing an On3 kit that was purchased in 09 but never really used, on his 03 GT currently. The non forward facing kits seem to be pretty laggy, they work, but it's alot of piping.

Awesome my man. I make 600 at 4500 with my novi 2k on my 2001 cobra. I have a opportunity to buy a on3 76mm turbo kit. For cheap. First gen kit. Should I ?

I dunno, the modular kits arent the greatest fitting, not compared to their fox kits anyway. The Novi 2k can make alot of power, add nitrous to it? lol

How hard is it to shoe horn one of these 5.4 engines into the 99-04, and wht does it take to make it happen? Just curious, oh, and what do you do to get the computer to be in check with it?

The 5.4 isnt hard really, but the DOHC setup makes it more of a pain. Have computer chipped or flash tuned by a tuner with SCT and it runs fine. Some of the harness has to be extended and things changed, really for all of the work involved, you could save the money and go straight into a decent turbo setup on a 4.6 2v or a 4v if you wanted, and make plenty of power, with a way lighter motor that sits lower in the car.
