Don't know why people say its a boring design. Its a very good looking car, especially considering its a 1 series! The proportions are really good and it has all the classic ingredients a beemer should have, but in a smallish car. If you think this is boring, compare it to the new A3 convertable. Dumpy boring not sexy at all

also how could you tell any design apart from the 3, 5 or 7 series at the same time?!

The idea is good but they naturally had to overprice it. What is the point of it when you can buy a 3 series for not even $6 grand more? They should have priced the 128i coupe at $21 grand the 135i coupe at $25K and started the cabrio off at no more than $29K. Then it would have made sense.
