2-valve regenerative receiver using an E1148 HF triode and a 6G6G AF pentode.
The components are mainly from radio rallies and the cigar boxes from a local tabac.
The hissy cracking noise seems to be a camera audio artefact.
4:51 is the frau.
PP3 batteries provide about 55V HT and total 6.3V heater current is just 300mA.

  • This video is so helpful to me, one who has just got the bits together to make a regen using a pair of 6SN7 double things, not my choice, someone suggested and gave them and a chassis and said I have 28 days to make it. It is just wonderful to hear your regen in action receiving all those different stations with such quality, many thanks for posting it
