Available for your Military Service. I play Taps in the East Bay area of San Francisco, but also am available to travel when needed.
I am able to fly just about anywhere to perform a beautiful and respectful sounding of TAPS for your loved one.....sometimes with just a day's notice!
However the more notice you can give me, the better.

  • I see why you disabled ratings.

WAY TOO MUCH VIBRATO. At least make it sound natural if you use it.

And YES, the repeating G,C,Es ARE strait. I'm still in the military, have been a military bandsman & have played Taps hundreds of times w/ actual military honor guards for veterans, memorials services & service members killed in action.

I truly hope you aren't trying to profit from this. It's one thing to ask for reimbursement for travel, but by law EVERY Vet gets Taps & an honor guard for FREE.

  • @WAKeele wait a minute: "trying to profit?" Do receive any money or checks for being in the military? If you do, you are certainly profiting. Why not get a civilian job and donate your time for free for our government...so you, yourself, won't be "profiting". COMPLETE MORON (not too mention his playing is high school level....go figure, right?)

  • Wonderful in free nature. I also play little bit trumpet. Greetings from Germany! Dieter

  • @DieterLo1 Thanks Dieter! I just had a student enroll in my trumpet upper register class last week from Germany!

  • Please excuse me on this. But, 95% of everyone playing Taps, although beautiful, get it wrong. I've played the horn for over 33 years, retired after 20 years from the military, and am proud of this song. The third and fourth measure includes quarter notes. Even and repetitious. A simple google will present the sheet music. Hope this helps.

  • @speyburn10 Sorry, but you are wrong. Every piece of music is open to interpretation including this one. If I had wanted to play it faster, slower, play it in a different key, change around some rhythms or whatever I decided, that would be up to the performer. That is why you hear the national anthem being played in so many different ways.....let the pro musicians do their thing!

  • one of my greatest disappointments in life is i have never learn to play a musical instrument and after my military service never will as i am almost totally deaf now

  • Hmmm...interesting. You probably COULD take the vibrato down to half of what you've got. I think that it is played (normally) sans vibrato, but I dunno...you probably could dial that down to a '5' though. or '3' or '4''. Otherwise, very nice.

  • very nice....sad too

  • Good I like it!! Call me an unexperienced critic but the vibrato is what I most liked. Ok when in a duet or a group it should be avoided but as a solo, in my opinion, it makes it sound with a little more feeling.

  • Very good man. Perhaps just a little too much vibrato, but other than that beautiful.

  • @yourbrassinstructor Open to interpretation, I guess that's why they call it an Art, huh? Sounds great to me, man. Thanks for sharing.

  • super

  • A fluctuation of the frequency that and is refreshing a very beautiful sound. Wonderfully!

  • @WAKeele ARE u shizzle? fizza and shizza my nizza!!!! You gotsa no range, no tone, technique......have you heard about private lessons? yu cun toss my salad if you are shit for brains?
