However it is nowhere near Dusseldorf and an extra 200 quid for a lufhansa ticket? are you flying buisness class? with all the hidden charges at ryanair you come somewhere in the region of equal to 50 pound more for a return flight with the big companies i found. But in my opinion you certainly travel better.

sounds like i been a bit hacked off for one or another reason at that point there ;-)
I agree, if you need to go somewhere in the niederrhein region, you dont have a heavy suitcase and have to happen a visa electron card, weeze airport is good and it craetes jobs thats the region desperatly needs.

Chris, you are free to pay the extra 200 quid for a Lufthansa ticket departing from a convenient commercial airport of your choosing.

A lot of people condemn Ryanair but the truth is they are progressive and as you see here they are helping to create jobs in a rural area. The airport authorities have to be praised also for recognizing that working in a proactive way with airlines helps to secure the future for the region.
I will be flying into Weeze for the first time in October from Stansted . The cost of my return ticket? 0.01p. Thankyou Ryanair
