  • I am building a 65 Classic myself but plan on keeping the V8 power. Is there anyway of putting front discs in it? WIll EL Falcon work or?

  • @TheFordMan888 not sure,i used toyota disc brakes, pre au falcons have a big centre hub and can be a pain to get wheels for..with a bit of engineering you can pretty much get anything to work.

  • @fishhed01 I have the original drums on the front, they are quite large centre Hole. I am running dragway pros at the moment.

  • @TheFordMan888 yeah i changed mine from original to disc, toyota was the easiest option for me,but falcon probably has a bigger disc/caliper and will probably have better stopping power.if you have a ford setup you may aswell try it

  • Matey, anythin new? 'ril

  • @Ceerill yep, there a new vid of it with different wheels etc i took end of last year.got more vids of some of my other cars and mates cars on my page.

  • i had the same car, loved it and miss it!! i now have a xr6 turbo that i love! you have dona an awesome job with this car and it amazing!! i think thay a v8 in it would have been a better option for style, the turbo 6 might be better bang fir your buck but in a car like that ya need the muscle car noise. awesome car regardless tho

  • @TheMaxx111 no real story, loved ramblers for years, they are probaby the most underrated american car in nz,so you can get them pretty cheap.and thats where i saw my opportunity to do something a little different,i had always respected the power and drivability of the skyline engine, and just so happened that around the time i bought the rambler, the engine came up for sale at a reasonable price.ive got to upload some new vids, these ones are pretty old.

  • awww .... I was sooo hoping it was gonna be a Rambler engine :(
