This really played on my emotions, which I think is what music is supposed to do.

You are definetly a very skilled guitarist too, but this vid didn't tell me that. It was other covers of yours that did, cause this cover is really simple. But that's what it should be.

I understand if for some reason you don't wanna answer that, but do you mind telling me for how long you play guitar? I know I play for six years and I defniently can't play like you, so maybe you play more than that.

@AvivCMusic Thanks. I've been playing guitar for about 25 years but just self-taught. I love the simple songs as they allow you to focus a little more on the vocals (which are clearly my weaker point). Playing and singing at the same time is something I've only done since I started uploading to Youtube, so I'm still trying to improve in that area.

Wow, 25 years is a lot of time! I wish I could teach myself to play instead of using a teacher. You must really love what you do.

By the way, I can't really sing, so maybe what I'm saying aint worth nothing. But here's a little tip: You got a kind of bass voice, but when you sing you usually sing on the higher notes. Maybe you can try covering songs while singing more like you talk - on low notes? Maybe you'll be more comfortable with that.

@AvivCMusic Actually, my singing voice is naturally higher rather than lower. It really depends on the key the song is in. If you check my most recent cover of Live Forever, I am playing it with capo on the 4th, which allows me to sing in a more natural vocal range for me. I personally like my most recent cover the best, although it is not in the same key as on Definitely Maybe.
