"Abominable scenes from that abominable film".

The special effects alone aren't even worthy of 1954's "Captain Midnight".

This movie holds the distinction of being the ONLY film that Bruce Jenner's first wife, Chrystie, ever starred in, who was also a Stewardess in real life.

An absolute misery from start to finish, this draining pustule of celluloid has to be seen in it's full 90 minute length to be fully appreciated and enjoyed. :-)

The only decent performances are from Peter Graves & Susan Strasberg, but even they can't save this appalling dungheap.

Bert Convy is his usual annoying self, and everybody's favourite "Bad Robert Wagner", Doug McClure, is here in full force as well.

Not to be missed of course are Martin Millner, Tina Louise, John De Lancey, Billy Crystal, and Robert Reed as our captain.

The "Real" aircraft scenes are a Boeing 707, & Lockheed L-1011 Tristar.

  • I remember watching a bit of this when I was a kid.

Seeing the FX now it's just hilarious. The 70s did have some great airplane disaster novels and movies.

  • "..We shouldn't have turned him down for production supervisor...we should've shot him!" LOL!

  • This is Captain Brady speaking!!!.....okay in this shot everybody lean to left....then in the next shot, everybody lean to the right....now everybody bounce up and down for the turbulence....so corny, you gotta luv it~

  • That's from the movie SST Death flight

  • *barf*

  • @mcdonnell220 whats the name of this movie

  • I remember this one too. Never have been so many TV stars (and an upcoming "Q") have participated in a so little refined special FX disaster movie (possibly trying to get at a certain coming motion picture about a now discontnued supersonic plane co-starred by Sylvia Kristel (no comment). Now, there were some brilliant FX moments if you skip most of the bad ones. And it brings some nostalgia about the actors and aviation.

  • *whistles* Miss SST is so sexy!! xD

  • this blows so bad.

  • @Janoke1974 Work with the movie : )

  • Movie is called:

    SST: Death Flight
