VERY NICE PICTURES IN THE SNOW
-
Really surprised that Barnetby is still a semaphore oasis, as it's now trapped between Lincoln and Grimsby which are both MAS. Great video considering the weather.

That sight could so easily be 50 years ago, apart from the loco livery/modifications...

Snow plough? lol
-
cool stuff, I supose freight still runs as its heavier and it buldozes the snow, LOL, great catch thoe of that 37 on ploughing duties
-
will be at least 30 yrs plus before the semaphores go. NR's got no money for major re-newals
-
Excellent !! . A box and Semaphores but for how long ? . Great winter footage .

I bet these signals don't last long with bloody NR getting rid of what they F**KIN Can!!!

3:12 was a SPAD

@LeamingtonSteve No it wasn't. The signal was frozen up, so could not be cleared. The loco had to pass it at danger, but not without permission from the Signaller. There's a world of difference between passing signals at danger with permission & SPAD's.
