Where do you perform? I've been getting great results with Live to Arkaos via Rewire on the same laptop. Arkaos though is a little long in the tooth, BUT it's got that Rewire support, which makes for a simple set up. I used to do the two laptop, multiple controllers, with MIDI mergers and the like. Kinda cumbersome...
