Once I was 1 on 1 with a goalie, puck in between my legs, then hit the crossbar! lol...I know how he feels!

We could end up debating this forever. Ovechkin does take a lot more shots than Vanek does too, but I think we all know that already :)

Well ehhh, Ovechkin kinda stays back more then Vanek to get a pass. I think Vanek plays more d. He could score as much as ovechkin if he hungout at the other teams blueline.

Vanek doesn't have the great speed or strength that Ovechkin does. Ovechkin has that other gear in his back pocket that Vanek can only occasionally get at. He is however, one of the league's most feared snipers and is a perennial 40 goal scorer given at least 65 games.
