The Streetmate does not have a clutch or gear shifter... its not a motorcycle, its in the same classification as a scooter...

i bought a tomos lx for 25 bucks wait long enough and ull come across a deal like that anyways do you know where the vin number is located or how to tell what year it is?

VIN number is located on a silver foil sticker stuck to the frame (on the right side) under the gas tank. If its not there... your out of luck.

is it possible and reasonably non-harmful to wire a 12v socket to the battery to power and charge a mounted gps (tom tom or garmin)???

i had the same problem with my honda in the tail light i switched to LED bulbs on it, from princess auto, havn't had a problem since - (had to mod the bulb a bit though.

I want to buy this moped (not exacly this one but also the tomos streetmate) but i came across some untrusty websites and I really wanna know where the framenummer is located.. can someone plz tell me it's kinda important.. in the end i don't want te buy a stolen one :P thx for the reactions
