@heavensnorthernlight Give the old soldier the respect he deserves. He was a great man and he has my deepest respects despite my family coming from the North I respect Lee. In my opinion Lee was the cornerstone of the Confederate war effort. He only surrendered on account that it was the only option left (besides a suicide attack). R.I.P General Robert Edward Lee a great and loyal man through and through.

Lee, who gave up his commission in the Union Army to support his native state, Stonewall Jackson who's army moved up to fill the holes left when a soldier was shot, Pickett's Charge where he charged the larger and stronger Union Army with hopes to disable them. I have been to many northern sites and i do not see southerners trashing them up but if the north was so great then why do they feel the need to come to these sites and trash these up? And give Robert E. Lee a little rest hes dead let him rest in peace if you dont like the video dont defile it....

@cer184 You stupid shit -- educate this retard. Go read Jefferson Davis speech from Sept 1864, while he was on a speaking tour to beg and shame the deserters.

Jeff Davis HIMSELF said at that time, that if just half the deserters will return, the South can not possibly lose. We are losing because of desertions -- massive desertions.

Guess who said so? Davis, the Confederate War Department, Pollack. Lee said we WILL lose because of desertions.

The reason you lost - the massive surrenders. Guess who said so! Davis and LEE!!. OVER -- OVER 2/3 surrendered long before the end of the war, on their own ground!

Yes Union had deserters too -- about 15-20%. Not 70% on their own ground.
