Quiksilver and Skateboarder Magazine North Shore Bowl Jam 2006

In 2006 I shot a pro contest in cooperation with Steve "Cholo" Ellis and Roger Harrel from Skateboarder Magazine on the North Shore of Oahu at Steve Ellis's bowl, aka - the Cholo Bowl. The event was put on by Quiksilver, Skateboarder Magazine, Vans and Cholo's Restaurant.

I have seen a lot of pro contests but I had never witnessed
anything like what I had seen at that pool. The lineup of skaters
that showed for the contest was a dream come true for anyone
who got the pleasure of witnessing it. Rune Glifberg, Bob Burnquist,
Cab, Lance Mountain, Omar Hassan, Ngoho, Danny Way, Ben Schroeder,
Chris Miller, Grosso, Christian Hosoi, Sergie Ventura and many others
started arriving one after the other.The intensity and level of skating was at
an all time high and everybody just having a good time. I want to thank Steve
