@jordanthewizard thanks captain obvious!

@mycoolgoodvideos that may be true but its quite possible that all platforms for the next generation consoles will support bluray not because bluray is good (hd-dvd has better performance and picture) but because bluray has better security features for anti piracy, which is the ideal feature for games and not the space.
the 360 also uses dual layer discs which is good enough for games today

obviously this rumor was false.

@AKATECHSUPPORT yeah but xbox is basically it's own company, pretty much well it can be.

If you think that sony pays microsoft for the OS this may be true but saying it just like that you obviously dont know how companies work. There is different markets in one company. Really your basically saying gaming companies pay other companies for blank disk. Apple pays PC companies for hard drives and parts. Toshiba for one. Many ipod harddrives come from Toshiba.

really? wow haha :)

@hectichorse sony may not own blu-ray but they definetly have a contract with them. blu-ray is a ps3 exclusive and wont ever be on 360...period. 360 has that toshiba HD DVD add on but toshiba dropped HD DVD mainly cause blu-ray was superior to it in sales...unless some other shit comes out 360 is stuck with standard dvd
well sony already gives money to Microsoft, because sony computers run on vista/Microsoft OS
ironic huh?
