    I understand. It was insensitive. I was just mainly in denial that something bad actually could've happened to me, and had more anger towards them than anything else. I mean, I missed out on tons of school and had to repeat tons of classes. I also have impaired vision and some other things going on. I agree they're awful. I don't understand my reasoning behind that at all, not sure why I said it.

    I know, I'm just saying when young adults have strokes it's not nearly as bad as elderly. I am actually a bit embarrassed of that comment now. I guess I felt angry towards the idea and was in denial that something horrible could've happened to me. ATM I haven't gained full vision, have awful headaches, and am limited on things I can do. Idek why I said that.

    Wow, you are fortunate, but very ignorant of what others have gone through. My loved one was entirely paralyzed on one side of his body. The effects were devastating. Be thankful how mild the effects of yours were and sympathetic for those not so lucky.

    I'm 19 I had a stroke on my left side , I'm slowly recovering but I can talk my emotions are weird I can't ever sleep it sucks :/

    The numbness and weakness down the right side of my body was my main symptom, but there are loads of different symptoms.

    I have regained full use of my right side. The physiotherapy helped me so

    Much. It has taken over a year for the physical things to return to "normal".
