How to Kitchener Stitch. Used for grafting the toe of socks, this forms an invisible join between the two sets of stitches.

  • at about 1:38, with the 4th stitch, you say, "as if to purl" but you mean, "as if to knit."

  • Watched this many times when needed but st were always twisted in back. That's cuz the back st are facing the wrong way. If you sl them to another needle knitwise with wrong side facing you they'll be in the right position. It's not the same to graft 1 upper & 1 lower part, and to graft to close circ knitted thing. Try it, you'll see it works!

    I have grafted very visible parts doing so and the join is perfect this way .
