Watched this many times when needed but st were always twisted in back. That's cuz the back st are facing the wrong way. If you sl them to another needle knitwise with wrong side facing you they'll be in the right position. It's not the same to graft 1 upper & 1 lower part, and to graft to close circ knitted thing. Try it, you'll see it works!
I have grafted very visible parts doing so and the join is perfect this way .

i just finished my first toe grafting using another video, and what a mess.......oh well, now that i found this video, my second sock will be much better.......thanx

at about 1:38, with the 4th stitch, you say, "as if to purl" but you mean, "as if to knit."
