Ray Bosmans introduces some Red- Ear Sliders; a baby, a female and an albino male. The Red-Ear Slider is now common in Maryland because of the pet trade.

  • My turtle have 19 years! :)

  • My friends bought me a baby red-ear slider because they thought that they'd stay that small... Nope, and I just found out that in order to accommodate this turtle into my home, I'll need to spend well over a few hundred dollars. I wish they'd research before buying an animal on a whim, especially if it's a gift. The damn store owner conned them as well, claiming that they will live in a small (not even a gallon) tank. Prick.

  • They are now forbidden in France because too many people released them. They can live to 40 years. I adored my turtle here in France and paid 100 euros in donation to have him go into a refuge, where people love to watch them. The nail dance is fascinating and I have seen it. I bought my turtle legally and loved him but man he got big, needed strong lighting, and kept pulling up the plug from the tub. He traveled with us on vacation, he loved it! Woolworth turtles!

  • what happens if it doesnt eat

  • i must what to view video

  • A really good comparison that shows the size difference between a baby and sub adult.

  • in canada, one is 30-40 dollars where i live near bayshore

in china, one is 1-5 dollars, in lingdongjie, liaoning, shenyang

don't you think the price is quite dramatic?

  • does their ears sometimes change in coloration?like a little lighter, orangey something.

  • @TheMysteryman334 no, its not... sorry... its best if younger turtles have more space to grow than try to squeeze in another baby turtle, cuz eventually, when they reach sexual maturity, one will dominate over the other (usually the weaker and slower one). that turtle will be stressed, deformed and will not or barely eat. as a conclusion, i think its best to to have at least a 40 gallon for both turtles (baby turtles grow fast anyways, and each will be at least 2 inches before u know it!).
