Yeah it does get weird that the dialogue is in English and the arias and the singing scenes are in the original German but otherwise a lovely attempt to do Pamina by Natalie Dessay. I think this role really suited Dessay in terms of the character and I convict that she did make a wise decision to do Pamina. Absolutely lovely. :)

Not much lyricism here. I'll hazard a guess that Mozart isn't Dessay's forte. The singer and orchestra both sound out to lunch here.
