cfw = customfirmware , firmware is the systemsoftware of the psp and cfw is the hacked fw to hack the psp you must use a pandora set (pandora battery and pandora magicstick) see youtube for tutorials , if you don't have cfw then this wil NOT work!

IMPOTANT INFO ; MUST READ THIS!

1. to download from custompsp(dot)de
you must be FREE member of the site

2. download the decompresed topmenu_plugin.rco (fw 2.60 or lower rco) for your cfw and put it in the flash0/vsh/recource by replacing the old 1

3. some 5.00m33 wave's dont work in the wave injector you wil see the wrong image (the last image in memory) so not the image in the wave in this case find the 4.00m33 or lower cfw version of the xmb wave you want here:

would it work on any 5.00 gen cfw

@MrKenshinYaj works on all cfw yes 5.00m33 yes 5.50 gen yes 5.03 gen if done correctly if brick you wil need to replace file with backup dont test it on your psp 3000 first since you cant enter recovery mode if it bricks

@julko6070 try custompsp(dot)net or download the 176 xmb wave pack you must put waves in flash0 not in ms0
