Lets be clear in 1983, the US. Army Field Artillery's most rounds live fired record since Vietnam was passed to 1/2 FA stationed in Baumholder, Germany. The rounds were fired at Grafenwohr, Germany as part of First Unit Test (FUT) for the first artillery battalion that fully TACFIRE equipped. B-1/2FA fired over over 3000 rounds in a three week period and I do not recall the battalion total. I am not sure if that record has been broken as of today!

1958-1959, Camp Parris, 105MM Howitzer Towed. What a beautiful gun. Back in the states, 1959-1961...155MM Howitzer Towed...overwhelmed at the difference in size. Wound up in the detail section...Fort Lewis WA, Battery B, 2nd Howitzer Bn, 77th FA.

Cut them some slack, theyre just generalizing the things that you pointed out so the public will understand it

That must have been a fucking private in the back while they were firing. That could have killed him.
Lol ADA isn't the real artillery, which is why they are considering merging it with the field artillery.
