Hope you get to feeling better soon. moppy285 has the cure. I've done the same for years as well, and you'll not want to forget the whiskey component of the cure - more than just a little nip. Make it HOT! and hold the mug so you catch the vapors (inhale deeply) between sips. It never fails.

Theres an old remedy for a cold this side of the pond - Honey and hot lemon juice (and maybe a little nip of whiskey for making you feel better!) it works a treat - my mother swears by it!! when ever she catches a cold (when out on her broom) she mixes up a big couldren full - works every time !!! (thinking about it may be the gin!) anyways go try it !!!

I'm in the "marketing suite" of a law firm, where someone or other is always sick, never me, since I started taking a lot of vitamins based on a q&a with dr. weill I read in newsweek a couple years ago. I'm not kidding. I havent gotten sick once since going on this regimin. anyway, thanks for the eight bars of adelaide's lament, and get well soon.
