SORRY I HAD TO CHANGE THE AUDIO FOR COPYRIGHT ISSUES. A Youtuber reposted this with a live version of the song at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yqi-Fcj9hyc&feature=mh_lolz&list=FLv13... Filmed in Asbury Park NJ in 1982. Still one of my favorite Springsteen songs, even named my daughter after it. Heartbreak to see how far Asbury slid after I shot this. I was back in 2009 an it looks like it is on the way back."Everything that dies, someday comes back".

  • dude...way cool. Its that you in the video!

Was just in AP last week..it's getting there with the revitalization....but thank you and Bruce for taking us back to the good ole days. Love this video

  • @musicshewrote Thanks! It was a buddy in the film We were back for a High School reunion. I just found my originalfilm footage and had it transferred to DVD. I hope to edit up a cleaner version with a CD for the source rather than my scratchy 33.3

  • BEAUTIFULll!! We vacationed on Long Beach Island back in the 60s but would go to Asbury Park at least once off season (had relatives next door in Ocean Grove). Best video accompanying this song I've ever seen.

  • Thanks . I spent alot of time there in the 60s and early 70s. I was back this past December and things are looking better for AP.

  • That was great! The images and the song made me cry. So many memories.

  • Thanks..

  • Thanks for this! Reminds me of what I left (left Jersey in '86 for L.A.). Yes, A.P. is looking a lot better these days!
