http://twitter.com/davesaunders The RSS feed from a blog can be useful for a lot of reasons. Add it to Facebook notes for your profile or page, add it to Google Reader, Friendfeed or any of the other many, many places that read RSS feeds for content intake. Finding the RSS Feed for a WordPress blog is super-easy once you know how. This video will show you how to find your RSS Feed for wordpress.com blogs as well as your own blogs running the free Wordpress engine from WordPress.org

  • yes - running Chrome, and raw feed i got - I also have wordpress 3.1 - double whammy?

May have to switch browser - or outsource. thanks for your feedback - will subscribe

  • @trexlergreen There's nothing wrong with WordPress 3.1. Why are you entering the URL into Chrome? What do you ultimately want to do with the RSS feed?

  • I'm running wordpress 3.1 - glad I read the comments - couldn't figure out why I got a page full of "gibberish". can you make another tutorial, since 3.1 is the lates upgrrade for wordpress?

  • @trexlergreen What browser are you using when you get the page of gibberish? I also run WordPress 3.1 and can use the instructions in the video to get the RSS feed. However, if you enter the URL into Chrome, you'll get a raw feed dumped into your screen. That's because of Chrome, not WordPress.

  • this doesnt work if you add feed/ or rss/ running wordpress v3.1

  • @pnhart I'm using WordPress 3.1 and adding /feed still works perfectly.
