I don't live all that far from Southport!
Plus (in spite of my tender 27 years) I'm a BIG 'Dan Dare' and 'Eagle' fan and I'm glad that this vid was so well informed

My dad, Norman Price, was a journalist in Southport at the time, and a friend of Frank Hampson and Marcus Morris. Some early drafts of the Dan Dare were shown to me and my friends for our reaction. You can see us and my Dad at that time on the video response I have left. I grew up to create and make The Tomorrow People and other shows for ITV and for American Television. Dan Dare was the spark of inspiration that set me on that path.

This was great, I'm attempting to collect every issue of the later run, but I want to start an original collection as well. Did you make this documentary?

@HorrorOfMike Yes I made this documentary a few years ago, it was shown at last years Eagle Convention in Southport.
