@cremer42 Are you sure its non Ep2?
It got the Ep2 Revcounter-Tach.
-
can you please tell me exactly which jrsc you put in for the k20a? Did you use the one for the k20a3?
-
@THE12INCHDAVE he does rev up past the 8000 on the tacho to 9000, but the tacho doesn't go up to 9
-
same as mine

@killjoysxe k20a2 stock internals are capable to 400 daily and up to 600 whp.
-
sounds mint mate, how come only revs to 8000? thought it was 9000?

Awesome! Simply awesome. Im planning on getting an Ep3 too. Do I need to get a whole K20A for the swap or can I mix and match parts? Say a k20a head with the stock A3 block? Any help I would really appreciate!

@cremer42 does running 10 psi on a 11.5:1 compression motor cause excessive stress on the internals or cause problems with pre detonation ?
It is an ep3 specific fit JRSC.

Nice car man, I have an 2003 ep3 and thinking about swapping in a k20a, how hard was the swap?
hersheynugget121 1 year ago
@hersheynugget121 not hard at all.. I would not reccomend going to the k20a though. Drop a k24a2 in if anything. Get the added power and torque. I went to a k24 all motor build and made 280 to the wheels on less compression. I miss that motor

Hey bro what is the total purpose of k20a2 head? Higher rpm? full exhaust and intake vtec?
Sandeep9201 1 year ago
@Sandeep9201 Just the head I had. I put the motor together. The a2 and k20a heads are the same flow.. Just different cams and springs. I was running the k20a2 cams. A bit better for a supercharger
