Matthew Reichenberger is 13 years old and in the eighth grade. He has been playing the piano for over 9 years. In the past several years, Matthew has won numerous awards in piano and composition including first place in the Florida Federations of Music Club State (FFMC) Competition in solo, duet, concerto, and composition events. Matthew has been nominated for the Irene Muir Award (for special talent) in the last three consecutive years in the FFMC State Competition. In May 2010, Matthew was the first place winner in the FSMTA State Concerto Competition in the Intermediate category. Locally, Matthew was the first place winner in the Advanced I category in 2010, and second place winner in the Advanced II category in the Pompano Beach Piano Competition in 2011. Matthew is a national finalist in the 2010-2011 MTNA Junior Piano Competition in Wisconsin.
Matthew has performed several times on WXEL radio, and has appeared on WLRN-TV's American Ideal program promoting classical music with his brother. Matthew studies piano and music theory with Maria Gomez.
Besides Matthew's passion for piano, he also loves improvising and composing. Since 2006 he has won first place and second place in the FFMC State Competition. His "The Triumph" won the Incentive Award in the National Federation of Music Club (NFMC) in 2008. In 2010, his "Mystic Falls" won first place in the NFMC composition competition. Most recently in 2011, "Mystic Falls" also won first place in the MTNA's National Junior Composition Competition. Matthew studies composition with Donald Waxman.

Jonathan Reichenberger is 11 years old and in the fifth grade. He has been playing the piano for more than six years. Since 2006, Jonathan has received many local and state awards and honors in the Florida Federation of Music Clubs (FFMC) and Florida State Music Teachers Association (FSMTA) in piano. In 2008, he was the first place winner in the piano solo, duet, and hymn events. In the last two years, he was a first place winner in piano solo, concerto, duet, patriotic, and hymn events. Jonathan was nominated for the Irene Muir Award (for special talent) for three consecutive years and was chosen the Irene Muire Award winner in May 2011 at FFMC. Jonathan studies piano and music theory with Maria Gomez.
In the 2011 Pompano Beach Children in the Arts Piano Competition, Jonathan won first place in the Intermediate II category. Most recently he was the first place winner in the FSMTA State concerto competition at Tallahassee in the Intermediate division (ages 13-15). He has performed on WXEL radio, and appeared on WLRN-TV's American Ideal program with his brother. In October 2009, Jonathan performed with the Symphony of the Americas at the Parker's Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale for the SEAS Program. And in January 2011, he performed at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts with the Symphony of the Americas for the same program.
Jonathan is a great athlete and plays on the Tier 1 AAA Florida Alliance travel ice hockey team. His favorite subjects are math and reading. He enjoys playing tennis, basketball, baseball, and street hockey with his brother.
