Ukrainian Cossack Music: Kozaka nesut' (They are carrying a cossack); ukr. Козака несуть. Images: Taras Bulba movie - Moscow propaganda movie (2009).

The history of the Ukrainian Cossacks has three distinct aspects: their struggle against the Tatars and the Turks in the steppe and on the Black Sea; their participation in the struggle of the Ukrainian people against socioeconomic and national-religious oppression by the Polish magnates; and their role in the building of an autonomous Ukrainian state. The important political role played by the Ukrainian Cossacks in the history of their nation distinguishes them from the Russian Cossacks.

  • велике задоволення, послухати, але ...

розповісти козаків, де він може бути,

а де ні, так само, як різати крила птаха...

  • @StefanGrzesik Hmmm. That hurts. From the other hand Poland is changing a lot since communisme has fallen. Don't know how it was before, but You're probably right - Ukrainians seems to be more friendly. Greetings from Poland. Sława!

  • @StefanGrzesik "And if poland is this great: Why do you live in Sweden?" I never said that Poland was great and that everyone should live there. "Each of the cultural sights in now poland has GERMAN roots."... are you... retarded? How could you be so ignorant about your own history? Stop hating Poles, traitor.

  • @kanelegrosculs "Slavs and Germanians should stand united and not divided." "We got different cultures and we speak different languages but we are all European at heart."... I said so?

  • @WoOdOoAnti slave and germanian was not the same type !

  • This sounds uncannily like the St. Barbara Choir. It wouldn't be them, would it?

  • @woodooanti: Again. You see my surename? Polish are proud of what? That they have under international law from 1876 taken away land from germany? Each of the cultural sights in now poland has GERMAN roots. Nothing was founded by polish. Just taking what you deserve. This is polish mentailty. My family is polish. I was in poland few times in my life. I adore ukrainians and russians but I hate my own people. They are not trustable. And if poland is this great: Why do you live in Sweden?

  • @StefanGrzesik I live in Sweden and my father is Polish and I consider myself being a Pole in heart. Why whould you wright such things about Poles? Slavs and Germanians should stand united and not divided. Stop talking insulting and bad about European soulbrothers. We got different cultures and we speak different languages but we are all European at heart. Please dont hate other Europeans, we are many, but one in the struggle.

  • piękne szkoda że już kozaków niema
