My story is similar to yours. In my 4th grade year, I met this beautiful girl. Eventually she became my girlfriend. We dated off and on but we were still friends. Then in my 8th grade year, she told me that she will be moving to Oklahoma at the end of school. I'm in 9th grade and I miss her with all my life. Whenever I think about her, I wonder what might have been.

After school, I moved from Missouri to Texas to work in the oil industry. It was lonely there. I made a few friends. One girl from work I knew as an acquaintance. We knew each other, but never hung out. Figured she was taken.

I resigned that job to move. The LAST day of work, we had a going-away party. I talked to that girl and we had a lot in common! She was single; so was I. All this time and we had never hung out! I had to move away; never looked back... but I think: What might have been?

We talked on the phone but I didn't think I'd ever see him again and if I did he'd be with someone else by then. Another yr or 2 I moved back again and he was with someone else. I was crushed. We stayed friends. That year for christmas he asked me what I wanted most and I had told him "HIM" of course and he said "Merry Christmas" you got what you wanted!! Almost 18 years later and we're STILL together married and have 2 wonderful kids together!!! I'm soo glad love kept us together through it all

Its a small world. When you're meant to be-you're meant to be! I lived across the street from a guy when I was a lil kid. Too young to know what love was. I moved away and life went on. I moved back to the area and took a summer job selling candy door to door when I was a young teen and met him again. We dated and a wk later he asked me to marry him! Another year and a half later I moved from Il. to Tn. only to leave him again!

This was the very first music video I ever saw. LOL I'll never forget it though. Don't even have to watch it to know that the woman's name is Clarice, like on silence of the lambs. lol

That she didn't tell me. I guess she thought it would be too painful for me and wouldn't want me looking for her. But her name is Samantha Teal.

I wish women still thought of military men this way. I was in a combat MOS in the army for 4 years (got an honorable discharge via MEB due to injury) after 4 years. An honorable soldier that fights to protect the freedoms this country is accustom to is no different in a womens eyes in this day and age than a gas station clerk, it's sad really....
