It is not known to new Soldiers about their employment rights. Either Active Duty, Army Reserves or National Guard, that if you were call to duty and you are currently employed to notify your supervisor in advanced of your absence from work. The employer does not have to pay you during your military leave nor can they fire you. Their are laws that protect Soldiers from employers preventing you from going to duty.
There is a company who helps Soldiers who have issues concerning about leaving work to go to duty.
