Hey.. here is an update for Charlie's Big Adventure.
That's what the title is now! I have a SplashScreen, AND I have a BGE Launcher now! Thanks to my brother you has programmed the BGE Launcher!
My first enemy type is finished now! A fox that is inspired by the minions from "despicable me". I can collect and loose health now!
And I have a blockgenerator running in the background now! It replaces my usual blocks with blocks that have no walls inbetween. So I have no glitches as seen in the previous videos. I hope you like the updates!

The BGE Launcher is going to be released as open Source! So all Blenderplayer user can use it. The Banner and Icon will be customizable!

  • Does blinking means, that he can't recive damage for some time? Doesn't pain animation will work better?

    yep.. I think I will add a damage/pain animation! But somehow I wanted to show that he is not able to receive damage for a certain time!

  • @ndee85 Blinking is too 8-bit. But it's up to you,  to decide, is it good association or not.

  • There seems to be a bit of a weird camera movement when you jump on top of the enemy.

    Or you put them into hard to reach areas and collecting all the "hidden" carrots gives you some kind of "you collected all the hidden carrots"-bonus?! Could add a lot of re-playability to your levels.

    Either way, you'll figure it out and I'll keep being curious. :-D
