Andrea was just one of the many single mothers of America until a tragic episode of domestic violence threw her into a lonely world of drug addiction, where she was deprived of her child. Dealing with her past trauma and sorrow, living at a shelter in the homeless community of Skid Row, just a few streets away from the banks and the new and reconverted luxury lofts of downtown Los Angeles, one day Andrea finds a ray of hope: the opportunity to tell her story acting in a theater play. Featuring the play ´La Llorona, the Weeping Woman of Skid Row,´ directed by Henriette Brouwers, of the LAPD (Los Angeles Poverty Department), and the actors Andrea Leichtle, Rickey Mantley, Chas Jackson, Alexander The Poet and Sashae Siatui. Directed by Jordi Ortega (WWW.TOROBRAVO.US)
I love it! Very sensitive. My best wishes to Andrea and her son...
