Helmut Berger is one of my favorite actors. Not only is he very beautiful, but he is such a talented and shocking actor!! In the 70s, Helmut Berger was considered the most beautiful man in the world. His films with Luchino Visconti are simply the best!
I have put together little snippets of twenty of Helmut Berger's films from
1967 - 2004 (he was 21 years old to 60 years old) that I own. His films in this video are in either English, French, German, Italian, and even Spanish! In some of the films, he was obviously dubbed with a voice that sounds nothing like his real voice! In most, there are no sub-titles. Many of the films post-Visconti are not very good, but I still think he gave his best effort in all his film roles. Perhaps, I will make another video for his television work.
Here are the films in order:
The Witches (filmed in 1965, released in 1967)
The Damned (1969)
The Garden of the Finzi-Continis (1970)
Dorian Gray (1970) *
Un Beau Monstre (1971)
The Bloodstained Butterfly (1971)
Ludwig (1972)
Ash Wednesday (1973)
Conversation Piece (1974)
Order To Kill (1974)
The Romantic Englishwoman (1975)
Salon Kitty (1976)
Beast With A Gun (1977)
The Greatest Battle (1978)
Mia Moglie è una Strega (1981)
Femmes (1983)
Faceless (1988)
The Godfather Part III (1990) **
Ludwig 1881 (1993)
Honey Baby (2004)
A couple mistakes (typos) on the video:
* Forgive me for spelling Massimo Dallamano's name incorrectly.
** The Godfather Part III was from 1990, not 1993.
Thanks so much for sharing this montage! He's one of my favorite actors and his films are indeed hard to come by. It's a shame that not only are they rare but so many are dubbed.

@andgodcreatedwoman I believe Helmut Berger is quad-lingual (German, French, Italian, and English), so it is a shame that they dubbed him. The DUBBED FILMS: The Witches, Dorian Gray, The Bloodstained Butterfly, Ludwig, Order To Kill, Beast With A Gun, The Greatest Battle, Mia Moglie è una Strega, and Femmes. 11 of the 20 films WERE NOT DUBBED and is Helmut Berger speaking in English, German, French, or Italian!! It is quite impressive! I wish I could speak many languages.

I just want to thank all the people who have watched my video. I didn't expect a lot of viewers (especially in the US where I am from), but I am glad Mr. Berger is still beloved in Europe, Asia, and South America where most of the viewers are from. A big thank you!!
