@JorDonPierce i agree it is a dolphin but sharks can stop in water just because you don't see a current on top of the water does'nt mean there is not one. i would know i am a marine biologist jk
@codtwo5 another thing, where is the tail fin? Sharks show their tail fin when their dorsal is skimming the water since their tail fin is erect to the vertical position unlike a dolphin, whose tail is horizontal and does not show in water.
@codtwo5 you get the point, I do not see a flowing current. And to correct you, sharks do not stop at all. They have evolved to never stop even if the current is flowing in their gills. I know what I am talking about, I like Ichthyology.
It's absolutely a dorsal fin of A SHARK (A GREAT WHITE)...Simons Bay Cpt right JAAAA....that dude got stuked in low tide and was obviously hunting....for the ones who doesn't know they hunt alot just on the surfers waves, this guy got stucked...It's DEFO a great white..exceptionel but on the SA coast, well not soo

It's a dolphin... Sharks tail fin is verticle... a dolphin is horizontal...
