This is a way to add glassine or tissue interleaves to a finished book. Twintak is a graphic arts material used to adhere large images to almost any surface. The tack is immediate, very strong and permanent. (Sometimes sold as Cellotak) I have used it to adhere impossible synthetic materials to board to cover books. It is also useful to catch the edges of delicate materials when you are making padded covers or box linings. And it is essential when attaching those padded interiors to the boxes.

P.S. The cat on the board Shear is Henry, a kitten we rescued from a feral litter.
