Is Mila Kunis Headed to Oz? And what other big star has signed on to star in "the Great and Powerful" prequel -- find our in seconds!

Hey everyone I'm Chelsea Cannell and your watching Clevver Movies.

Mila Kunis was rumored to be looking at staring in Akira as Kei but when the movie failed to lockdown a start date --

She moved on and has apparently decided to jump on-board the Sam Raimi pre-quel "Oz the great and Powerful" - which is slated to start shooting in July!

The black swan beauty will reportedly play Theordorah -- the younger sister of Evanorah who later becomes the wicked witch of the west.

The word in hollywood is, once Mila started circling the project, James Franco became interested and is now thinking about taking over the role that previously belonged to Robert Downey Jr. and Jonny Depp.

So It looks like this film is finally starting to round out -- but are you guys liking the idea of Mila and James joining the Cast? Anyone else you'd rather see?

@DaughterofDarthbod08 You do realize that Wicked is a fan interpretation of the wizard of oz written nearly a hundred years after the original oz series was published right?It's not a prequel in the same sense that the Star

Wars prequels are cannon to the original movies.It was a fan's idea of the witches past.Neither this movie or Wicked are 'correct' just different ideas.

@weirdofun1 Oh yeah not entirely American since they gave Rachel Weisz a part lol.But still it seems more like they're doing something with a cast for America.At any rate Emma still wouldn't work for my other reasons too.

A. This is a prequel so Dorothy won't be in it.

B. Looks like they want an American cast since the Wizard of Oz book is classic American children's literature.

C.Dorothy is supposed to be Ten(Judy Garland was sixteen when she portrayed her but the makeup team made her look slightly younger).
