Living in saskatchewan i saw a double 2-140 length trains butted together 1 engine back 2 middle and 1 front. Longest i ever saw, but always see lots of helpers mid and back as needed. Gotta love living next to the CP main line!!

2.3 miles (12-12400 feet) are the really long ones. 8000-10000 feet are normal lengths.

How long are the trains where you are from?

That train is short.

I see why Canadian Pacific need mid train helpers to help trains of any type up the.41% grade without stalling up on the hill right?
