Free Hugs - St. Louis

I started to collect Free Hugs in St. Louis, Missouri in May 2007. I then began getting out for the fun once a month with different friends. Doing public Free Hugs has tremendous spiritual value and is especially great for connecting across diversity. It restores the human spirit. Special thanks to Juan Mann of Sydney, Australia for first publicizing his lovely initiative.

Hey I am going to be in St. Louis October 17-20, 2011 and I would love to try and Free Hug with anyone who is interested on one of those days. I am on a cross country Free Hugs tour going to different cities and meeting with other free huggers and brightening their lives one hug at a time. I hope that I will get to Free Hug with some of you during my time in St. Louis!!!

My friend, what a sweet idea! We often forget how similar we are, the same needs for love, family, friends... This gesture of free hugs is an exercise that connects the peoples hearts and leaves aside any "differences" that set us apart and unhappy. A spontaneous smile is powerful.
