  • Let us just enjoy the beauty of the nature around us and the confident narration of Carl Sagan who elegantly describes its mystery and mechanisms instead of arguing on the internet.

  • science, philosophy, poetry and history: the best combination.

  • the Nothing created all or not. that is the question. the quest for the answer. the universe is us. sagan was it. we are all flowers reaching for the stars. pass your knowledge to your kids. evolution depends unendlessly on it.

  • If you want a good time, post anything religious or creator oriented on a Sagan vid,......You will get postings for months on it.

  • @MrNance91 How did you manage to get to a comment 1 month deep? And I agree, Carl is the man. He would be a great assett to science right now.

  • @alejita1679 wonderfully said!!!

  • @romnsch13 the hell with john moore, carls the man,

  • Does anyone think they should make a sequel with one of his other books, like The Dragons of Eden or Pale Blue Dot? Sounds like a good idea to me

  • @TheLi0nnnn Modern historians call it the dark ages because of the decrease in available information from that time not because of the social and civic policies of the times. The Roman roads and trade routes that united the world fell into disuse. And monks stayed in their abbeys rather than travel and exchange ideas. The term dark refers to how illuminated the era is to us today not because of how dismal life was then.

  • @420smugg Your question already has an answer. Look at the ancient Mediterranean. Rome and Greece for example had very modern mostly secular legal systems. The rule of law was very important to the Romans. That is something we lost with the rise of monarchies and the concept of the Right of Kings.
